Josh Hazlewood cleared from fitness concerns but Sean Abbott ruled out of Test
Hazlewood's career includes 295 international wickets maintaining an average of 24.21 across 76 Test matches
Hazlewood received clearance to become part of the Aussie lineup for the initial Test against England following fitness concerns, however, teammate Abbott will miss the match
Both suffered muscle problems while representing their state team versus Victoria in domestic cricket recently
Medical examinations revealed Hazlewood, 34 did not sustain tissue injury. The uncapped Abbott, 33, sustained a moderate-level injury
Team captain Cummins is out of the initial match, commencing later this month, so the loss of another experienced fast bowler like Hazlewood could have proven a significant setback
Abbott was unlikely to play at the Perth match, with Hazlewood set to join fellow quicks Starc and Boland as the specialist seamers
Cummins, currently healing from back issues, appears to be on track to return for the Brisbane match in Brisbane starting on 4 December

Similar to most the Australia players, Hazlewood participated in recent matches of state games in preparation for the historic rivalry
Prior to recently, he hadn't featured red-ball cricket with his state team for over twelve months
He felt tightness in his hamstring towards the end of Victoria's second innings during the match and left the field as a precaution
Both players batted in New South Wales' second innings during their defeat by three hundred runs
