In a low-scoring contest on Sunday, the Denver Broncos clinched a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early scoring strike and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the late go-ahead field goal to seal the ugly win.

Dominant Performance Wins Contest

Even with registering nine sacks against Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 after giving up a safety in the second half. Remarkably, the Jets managed just 82 total net yards during the entire game.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a critical 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's 27-yard field goal with approximately five minutes remaining.
